Black Friday 2026: eMAG expects total sales to exceed 1 billion RON

    Published on

eMAG expects total sales of 1.04 billion RON during its 16th Black Friday edition, scheduled for November 6, 2026, approximately 50 million RON more than the value recorded in 2025.

According to a Kantar study, more than 90% of Romanians are familiar with Black Friday, while over 56% intend to make a purchase during this year’s edition. Consumers have planned an average budget of nearly 3,600 RON, compared with approximately 3,300 RON last year.

“Black Friday remains the most anticipated shopping event, particularly in a year when Romanian household budgets have been under pressure. Our research shows that joy is the strongest emotion associated with Black Friday purchases, and we have prepared an offer that matches customers’ expectations, featuring more than 1.8 million products at their lowest prices of the year, as well as surprises and prizes,” said Tudor Manea, CEO of eMAG.

He added that eligible customers can use eMAG Wallet to purchase the products they need and spread payments over 12 interest-free instalments, with no additional costs, allowing them to benefit from Black Friday offers without putting pressure on their personal budgets.

For November 6, eMAG and its Marketplace partners have prepared offers across a wide range of categories, including:

This year’s Black Friday offer will also include a wide selection of products and services, ranging from cars and precious metals to healthcare services, festival tickets and holidays.

Among the special offers are more than 100,000 shopping vouchers for Freshful, Auchan, Profi and Hambar, with discounts of up to 98%, as well as over 12,000 Domino’s Pizza vouchers.

The automotive category will feature more than 500 cars from 19 brands, with discounts of up to EUR 30,000. The offer will also include over 139,000 medical subscriptions and services, more than 50,000 festival tickets and over 47,000 accommodation nights, with discounts of up to 55%.
