    Filip & Company assists DIGI Communications Group with the initial steps toward entering the UK telecommunications market

    Filip & Company law firm assisted Digi Communications Group in the acquisition by its subsidiary Fiber One Ltd. of a 51% stake in Whyfibre Limited, a company that owns a fibre-optic network under development in the counties of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, in southern England.

    Digi is one of Romania’s best export products. After Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Belgium, the time has come to expand into the United Kingdom. We’re delighted to have been able to contribute, and we’re rooting for them to achieve another success story in one of Europe’s largest and most interesting markets”, said Alexandru Bîrsan, managing partner at Filip & Company.

    The Filip & Company team involved in this project was coordinated by Alexandru Bîrsan (managing partner) and included Anca Bădescu (senior associate), Bianca Gheorghe (associate) and Sebastian Dragomir (associate).
