Schneider Electric Romania has officially inaugurated its new headquarters located at Globalworth Campus C in Bucharest. Covering an area of approximately 2,300 square meters, the new office is fully digitalized, with its energy and climate performance monitored in real time using software solutions developed by Schneider Electric.
The Zeigo platform tracks the company’s carbon footprint and progress on its decarbonization plans, while Resource Advisor provides a comprehensive overview of energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. All this data is displayed transparently on screens throughout the office, allowing both employees and visitors to see live the results of the company’s sustainability efforts.
The entire space operates exclusively on renewable energy, ensuring zero Scope 2 emissions.
A key feature of the new headquarters is the integration of green technologies that support Schneider Electric’s decarbonization ambitions. The building is equipped with solar infrastructure and a complete electric mobility system.
Sustainable technologies integrated into the headquarters include:
- 12 photovoltaic panels with an installed capacity of 5.46 kWp
- 16 kWh energy storage batteries
- Estimated annual savings of 5.84 MWh
- Solar energy also powers the company’s illuminated logos
- 10 EVlink Pro AC charging stations (11 kW) for electric vehicles
- Integration with EV Charging Expert for real-time monitoring, reservations, and optimization
Through this investment, Schneider Electric Romania reinforces its commitment to sustainability, digital transformation, and the transition to a low-carbon future.
