Klarwin: Production of water desalination systems for Mureș localities enters final stage

    Published on

As part of one of the most complex water treatment projects carried out in Romania, Klarwin is approaching the completion of the manufacturing phase for the three desalination systems intended for the localities in Mureș County affected by increased water salinity following the incident at the Praid salt mine. The first completed system has already been installed in the locality of Fântânele and has entered the preliminary testing phase prior to commissioning.

The installations, which integrate advanced purification technologies featuring high efficiency and low energy consumption, are designed and fully built in Romania, at Klarwin’s factory in Iernut, Mureș County.

The entire project represents a significant technological and logistical effort, with the project management, engineering, production, assembly, and testing teams working in close coordination to deliver, within an extremely short timeframe, complex equipment designed from scratch according to the requirements of local authorities and the expected outcomes.

“This is a project that simultaneously demands technical expertise, fast response times, and a high level of execution precision. The fact that the solutions are produced locally, using our own resources, has allowed us to maintain complete control over the process and to respond immediately to challenges that emerged along the way. Klarwin teams have been continuously mobilized to develop, in record time, complex desalination systems capable of ensuring optimal drinking water quality in each of the three affected localities,” said Adrian Dobre, CEO of Klarwin.

The solutions are currently in the final preparation stages before installation, with the commissioning process set to take place gradually, in accordance with safety and compliance requirements.
