Studium Green sells 157,000 sqm of land near Bucharest to Altex and mömax in a 17 million euros deal

Studium Green, a Cluj-Napoca–based real estate development company owned by entrepreneur Dorin Bob, has completed the sale of several land plots located in Jilava to Altex Group and mömax, the furniture and home décor retailer that is part of Austrian group XXXLutz.

The land will be consolidated into a larger plot owned by Altex Group, forming the foundation for the development of the largest retail park in the south of Bucharest. The total value of the transactions completed by Studium Green with Altex Group and mömax exceeds 17 million euros.

Studium Green will remain involved in the project for the development of the upcoming retail park, where it will build HoReCa facilities.

“Together, just seven kilometers from Bucharest city center, we will develop a commercial hub for the communities of Jilava, Măgurele, and the southern part of Bucharest. I am pleased that our partners recognized the strategic importance of this area, positioned along the key north–south axis, which will enable the creation of a sustainable retail park equipped with modern technologies for energy generation and resource management. The park will also integrate medical and educational services, as well as cultural and entertainment facilities, including aquatic activities,” said Dorin Bob.

The future retail park in Jilava will reach a total surface of 200,000 sqm, making it the largest of its kind in the south of Bucharest. The development will be carried out both on the land sold by Studium Green and on adjacent plots owned by Altex.

Studium Green was advised in the transaction with Altex Group by legal teams from Reff & Asociații | Deloitte Legal.
