WDP to develop a 32,000 sqm logistics center for FAN Courier

    Published on

WDP announces the development of a distribution center of approximately 32,000 sqm within WDP Park Bucharest – Ștefănești, dedicated to FAN Courier Group. The investment, valued at around 22 million euros, will be carried out through the utilization of WDP’s land reserves located in the northern part of Bucharest.

Construction is set to begin in 2026, with completion scheduled within the same year. The facility will be leased on a long-term basis under a 10-year contract.

“Through this project, WDP reinforces its partnership with FAN Courier Group and expands its footprint in northern Bucharest. The development is fully aligned with our cluster-based strategy and benefits from an optimal location with excellent connectivity. With this expansion, the first phase of the park is now fully completed, underlining the strong demand for modern logistics space,” said Jeroen Biermans, Country Manager WDP Romania.

With a total leasable area exceeding 400,000 sqm, WDP Park Bucharest – Ștefănești has become the largest cluster in WDP’s portfolio.

WDP is now focusing on the further expansion of the Bucharest cluster through new land acquisitions. These strategic land reserves form the foundation for future extensions and sustainable growth, in full alignment with WDP’s long-term strategy.

Within the existing WDP Park Bucharest – Ștefănești, an additional expansion potential of 30,000 sqm has already been reserved for existing clients. North of this park, the development of a new site has begun, with an initial project of approximately 54,000 sqm dedicated to Action.
