Digi Communications, one of the leading European telecommunications companies, listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, reports consolidated revenues (including revenues and other income) of EUR 560 million in the second quarter of 2025, an 18 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA decreased by 1 percent compared to the result from Q2 2024, reaching EUR 168 million due to the ramp-up of operations in Portugal, reflecting the higher initial investments necessary to support the expansion of customer base and services in this market.

In the first semester of 2025, the Group recorded consolidated revenues and other income of EUR 1,113 million, a 21 percent increase versus 6M 2024, adjusted EBITDA of EUR 339 million (+2 percent vs 6M 2024).

Serghei Bulgac, CEO of Digi Communications, stated: “The first half of 2025 brought extraordinary operational results for our Group, as we approach the milestone of 30 million RGUs across our four key markets. Romania delivered very healthy revenue and RGU growth, Spain continued its strong double-digit expansion, and Italy maintained its upward trajectory in both turnover and client numbers. We are advancing in Portugal, aiming to grow our customer base and improve our operational efficiencies. I want to thank all our customers, those who have been with us for decades and those who have only recently decided to trust us, for enabling us to continue growing and improving our services.”

In Q2 2025, Digi continued to grow across its entire service portfolio, reaching 29.8 million in revenue-generating user agreements (RGUs) across Romania, Spain, Italy and Portugal. This marks a 17 percent increase compared to Q2 2024 on an absolute basis.

The mobile segment stands out for generating the most RGUs within the Group’s array of services, accounting for 49 percent of the overall clients across the four markets. Maintaining its momentum from past quarters, in Q2 2025, the mobile segment saw its RGUs climb to 14.5 million, a 22 percent increase, covering mobile telephony clients across Romania, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

In Romania, the mobile service segment reached 7 million RGUs as of the end of Q2 2025, a positive evolution of 13 percent compared to Q2 2024. Broadband services registered an increase of 7 percent in Q2 2025, compared to Q2 2024, up to 5 million RGUs, while the segment of Pay-TV services (cable and satellite) increased by 3 percent YoY up to 6 million RGUs. Together with fixed-line telephony, the total number of RGUs in the Romanian market amounted to 18.8 million customers as of Q2 2025, a 7 percent increase versus Q2 2024.

Spanish operations continued the strong performance in Q2 2025, with the number of users of fixed services, internet, and mobile telephony increasing by 29 percent compared to Q2 2024, to 9.7 million RGUs. Mobile users increased by 24 percent to 6.6 million RGUs, while broadband users increased by 35 percent to 2.3 million.

In Italy, mobile users increased by 12 percent YoY, reaching 512k RGUs as of the end of Q2 2025.

In Portugal, Digi Communications, launched commercial operations on November 4, 2024, offering a full range of telecommunication services, including mobile, fiber optic broadband internet, television, and fixed telephony. As of the end of Q2 2025, Portugal operations encompassed 789k RGUs, of which 420k were mobile and 144k were broadband users.
