Romgaz, the largest producer and main supplier of natural gas in Romania, announces the conclusion of a new Market Making services contract with Raiffeisen Bank International AG, for a period of 24 months.

The agreement is signed in accordance with the regulations of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) regarding the Issuer’s Market Maker and has as its main objective the increase of the liquidity of Romgaz shares (stock exchange symbol – SNG).

With a presence of over a decade on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and a market capitalization of over 30 billion lei, ROMGAZ shares have registered an appreciation of approximately 56% this year.

“The renewal of the partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International highlights our constant commitment to investors and the development of the capital market. In the last two years, this collaboration has contributed to increasing the liquidity and attractiveness of SNG shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Moreover, it has supported us in consolidating our capital structure, facilitating access to financing for our strategic projects through capital market mechanisms.”, said Răzvan Popescu, CEO Romgaz.

Through major investments, Romgaz continues to consolidate its role as a strategic player in the national and regional energy sector. Thus, in the period 2021-2024, ROMGAZ made investments of approximately 10 billion lei.
