    DEER invested 12 million lei in the modernization of the electricity distribution infrastructure in Galati County

    Distributie Energie Electrică Romania, Galati Branch, completed an investment of 12 million lei for the modernization of the electricity distribution infrastructure in Galati County.

    The works carried out aimed at the modernization of the electrical networks by:

    • Replacing the existing 110/6 kV transformers in the 4 stations (Filești, SNG, Tecuci, Ionășești) with new ones, with reduced losses;
    • Installing new circuit breakers in the internal service cabinets;
    • Creating new foundations for the circuit breakers in the cells;
    • Making all connections and integrating into SCADA.

    By executing this work, carried out from its own resources, DEER aimed to increase the quality of the distribution service by:

    • reducing the number of accidental interruptions;
    • increasing energy efficiency;
    • ensuring optimal operating parameters of the networks, according to the requirements set out in the Performance Standard for the electricity distribution service.
