Chrome Tehnic, Schneider Electric’s partner in Romania, participated in the international fair in Hannover, where it presented its latest technical solutions dedicated to high-power photovoltaic systems. The Romanian company demonstrated the advanced capabilities of its electrical distribution and automation panels, designed for 800V AC voltage.

One of the most advanced solutions presented to potential European customers at the fair was PrismaSet P, Schneider Electric’s range dedicated to the efficient distribution of electricity, including in large-scale photovoltaic installations, using 800VAC inverter technologies. This technology allows the injection of up to 5MW into the grid from a single electrical panel, significantly reducing copper consumption, CO₂ emissions and investment costs. The PrismaSet P system, used at a nominal voltage of 800V AC, represents a reliable and efficient alternative to traditional 400V AC systems and is already used in complex photovoltaic projects in Romania.

In the same context, Chrome Tehnic presented the DC string disconnection switchboard solution, Fireman Switch, developed in accordance with the new fire safety regulations (P118-1/2025). It includes essential components such as DC disconnectors with remote tripping, fuses and surge protection devices, designed to increase the safety level of photovoltaic installations.

Daniel Rizescu, Chrome Tehnic Director, said: “Participating in Hannover Messe was a valuable opportunity to validate our solutions in front of an international audience. We received positive feedback from industry experts, who appreciated the technical-economic efficiency and the high level of safety offered by our solutions. The event helped us to consolidate Chrome Tehnic’s positioning as a strategic partner with European potential for renewable energy.”

During the fair, the company generated a significant number of new contacts and collaborations, many of which are already in the evaluation or even implementation phase. The solutions presented attracted the interest of system integrators, project developers and industrial partners from all over Europe.

“Chrome Tehnic’s presence at Hannover Messe, alongside Schneider Electric, marks a strategic moment in the company’s internationalization process and underlines its constant commitment to innovation, sustainability and performance in the renewable energy sector.” said Lucian Ene, Buildings End Users & Channels Sales Director Schneider Electric Romania.
