IKEA announced the opening of the first Plan and Order Point in Bucharest, located in Orhideea area. This is the second Plan and Order Point in Romania, following the launch in Constanta last year. The Plan and Order Point is a customer meeting point where customers can get inspiration, explore home furnishing knowledge, and find personalized solutions and expert help to design their ideal space, with focus on kitchen and bedroom.

Located within Business Garden Bucharest developed and operated by Vastint Romania on Calea Plevnei 159, the IKEA Orhideea Plan and Order Point offers a showroom that spans over 350 sqm. The studio includes a dedicated planning area, complemented by an inspirational home furnishing solutions area, as well as a display area totaling 1400 items.

“The opening of the first Plan and Order Point in Bucharest and the second in Romania marks an important development for the local market. Through its accessible location, size and flexibility, we want to be closer to the people in the Capital and offer inspiration and expert advice so that customers can shop in the most convenient way for them. Beyond planning and inspiration, these locations also serve as an ideal hub for assisting people who live a distance from our current IKEA stores, whether they’re looking to order a new sofa, wardrobe, or any other IKEA product.”, says Mihai Dinte-Pop, Manager Plan and Order Point IKEA Romania.

All standard IKEA services are available at the new Plan and Order Point, for complete customer experience – including planning, interior design, delivery, measurements, kitchen installation and furniture assembly. In addition to kitchen and bedroom planning, customers can also get advice for furnishing any room in the home.
