Distribuţie Energie Electrică Romania (DEER) organizes, between November 13-14, in Cluj Napoca, the second edition of the Energy Cybersecurity Forum, which aims to bring together national authorities, experts from the energy and IT sectors, such as and representatives of universities and the cyber security industry.

“If last year more than 200 representatives of professional companies participated, today I can tell you that we are more than 300 people and the interest is increasing. It is clear that we have identified a problem, a vulnerability that we are all looking for an answer to. We live in a society in constant change. We all want the transition to green energy, but this is not possible without digitization,” explained Mihaela Suciu.

“Ten years ago, we could talk about energy without digitalization, but now we can’t talk about energy without digitalization, nor about digitalization without energy. I am convinced that those present here are very interested in identifying solutions.

I am convinced that, at the end, as happened last year, we will leave with solutions and innovative ideas, and I am convinced that you will want to come back. So, I am announcing from now that next year we will have the third edition of the Energy Cyber ​​Security Forum, also in Cluj Napoca”.
