Filip & Company assists eMAG Group in the sale of its entire participation in Tazz

    Published on

Filip & Company assisted eMAG Group on the sale of its entire participation in HCL Online Advertising, the company that operates Tazz platform, to Wolt, a Finnish company operating in 28 countries, held by the US based DoorDash.

“Tazz is one of our local champions, a Romanian success story created by a dedicated and energetic team. eMAG’s investment has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Tazz business, providing the financial resources and know-how to accelerate expansion at a rapid pace. Tazz joining forces with Wolt marks a new stage in this spectacular evolution, and we are convinced it will bring extraordinary opportunities.  We are glad that we were able to work with the eMAG team again on an important project. It is always a great experience”, said Alexandru Bîrsan, partner and head of the Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets practice at Filip & Company.

The Filip & Company team coordinated by Alexandru Bîrsan (partner, M&A) and Cătălin Suliman (partner, Competition) included Silviu Vasile (partner, Competition), Andreea Bănică (senior associate, M&A) and Monica Popa (associate, M&A).
