CEZ Group in Romania becomes the EVRYO Group

    Published on

The CEZ Group in Romania has announced a rebranding process through which it will become the EVRYO Group. The new identity “highlights the Group’s commitment for a green future and puts the benefit of people, communities and the entire planet at the center of all actions.”

“We are proud to be part of such an active industry and to contribute to its accelerated evolution towards a green future for the benefit of all people. We have been present in Romania for 19 years and produce green energy with the largest private generation capacities in the country. We distribute energy in a quarter of Romania, in the Oltenia region. We master the creative force of technology, a force that is now changing the world. And we believe that beyond the infinite possibilities of technology, the most important form of energy is people’s energy,” said Ondrej Safar, CEO EVRYO Group.

“Today’s context is marked by rapid, continuous change. Today we are experiencing a change. Our new name expresses the reality of being an important player in the production of green energy, as well as our mission to work for the benefit of all people: colleagues, communities, the whole country. We have both clear sustainability objectives and a target of zero emissions for the year 2040, as well as concrete plans through which they will become reality. We stand by the people, each of them, and continue all our projects,” said Angelica Barbu, Chief People and Brand Officer EVRYO.

Bringing together the companies Distributie Energie Oltenia, Ovidiu Development, Tomis Team, MW Team Invest, TMK Hydroenergy Power and EVRYO Power, the EVRYO Group manages and operates the largest operational onshore wind farm in Romania, produces green energy through the hydropower system near Reșita and operates the first floating photovoltaic solar energy system in Romania.
