    Distributie Oltenia invests 48 million RON for the expansion of electrical networks in Mehedinti County

    Distributie Oltenia will invest 48 million RON in a project to expand the electrical distribution networks in the towns of Simian and Obarsia Closani, Mehedinti County. The financing contract was signed with the Ministry of Energy in February.

    Through its development strategy, Distributie Oltenia aims to improve the level of safety in electricity distribution and reduce energy losses.

    Through the development of this project, investments will be made in the energy infrastructure to reduce the losses in the network and to provide safe and continuous electricity distribution services.

    The total value of the project is 48.8 million RON. The maximum amount ensured by the Modernization Fund is 80 percent of the eligible expenses, i.e. 37.6 million RON.
