Delgaz Grid established a natural gas distribution network in three localities in Botosani County

    Published on

The localities of Hudum, Manastirea Doamnei and Agafton, which belong to Curtesti commune (Botosani County), benefit from natural gas supply since the end of last year, due to the public-private partnership between the local authorities and the operator of the distribution network Delgaz Grid. More than 2.5 million RON is the value of the investment that consisted in the establishment of the natural gas network in the three localities, with a length of about 11 kilometers.

The next stage for the residents of Hudum, Manastirea Doamnei and Agafton, respectively the institutions and companies in the area, is to make individual connections.

“Almost half of the value of the investment in the Curtesti commune was the contribution of the Delgaz Grid company. The three newly established distributions in Botosani county are part of the 14 made during the last year based on the partnerships concluded with the local authorities”, says Cristian Ifrim, deputy general director of Delgaz Grid.

“The association with the Delgaz Grid company was impactful, and now the gas network is no longer just a project on paper but has become a reality. Soon, the entire community in the area will feel the benefits of natural gas supply”, said Maricel Anton, the mayor of Curtesti commune.

In 2023, Delgaz Grid established 14 natural gas distributions, the total length of the constructed network exceeding 110 km. The largest natural gas distribution among the 14 established in 2023 in partnership with local authorities is the one in Toplita municipality (Harghita county), with a length of 35 kilometers.
