    CMS advises Raiffeisen Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International AG on a 60 million Euro financing for Ratesti Solar Plant

    International law firm CMS has advised Raiffeisen Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International AG on the financing of Ratesti Solar Plant, the largest new solar project developed in Romania to date.

    With a capacity of 155MW, the project, owned by Econergy and Nofar Energy, was connected to the electricity grid at the end of November. CMS advised the lenders on all aspects of the financing transaction under Romanian and English law.

    The multidisciplinary expert CMS team was coordinated by Ana Radnev and Diana Dona, and the team included Varinia Radu, Ramona Dulamea, Raluca Diaconescu, Edwina Udrescu and Madalina Constantinescu (Energy); Roxana Fratila, Alexandru Trandafir and Bianca Banateanu (Real Estate); and Amalia Podoleanu and Florian Pacalici (Banking and Finance).
