    Published on

Hospitality group Accor announces the recent signing of a management agreement with Amera Group for the opening of a new ibis Styles hotel in Cluj. The property will be the first hotel operated by Accor in Cluj, and it is scheduled to open in April 2025.

ibis Styles Cluj will offer 110 rooms, including family rooms and rooms for guests with disabilities. The hotel will also include a restaurant, a standalone concept developed by Accor, committed to serving local and international food, looking to receive residents living in the neighborhood and people working in the offices nearby. The hotel will also host a large multipurpose conference room where both corporate and social events can be organized.

The hotel will be positioned close to Amera Tower Business Center, in the north-west part of the city, between two industrial parks, West Industrial Area and Tetarom I. Located outside the urban agglomeration, easily accessible by public transportation, the hotel will enjoy direct access to European Route E81. The location is only 7 km away from the city center, and 5 km from Cluj Arena, home to the main sports and entertainment events in Cluj Napoca.

“The future opening of ibis Styles, Accor’s first hotel in Cluj, marks a significant milestone for the group, as we expand our presence in this vibrant and dynamic market. We are committed to providing high-standard accommodation and service and to expand the range of brands in the market, in a way that aligns perfectly with Cluj’s young and innovative spirit. Joining hands with a prestigious local developer, Amera Group is a guarantee to the quality of the future project and a great starting point for the story of the new ibis Styles Cluj,” said Cătălina Toma – Development Director Accor Premium, Midscale & Economy Brands.

“The journey we are starting today alongside Accor is one of sustainable growth. We made a pledge more than 20 years ago to contribute to the development of Cluj as a key business destination, and we are now, once again, honoring that promise with a brand-new investment. We are confident that this project too will become a landmark for the city and that it will ideally complement the area with excellent hospitality services, guaranteed by the know-how and expertise of one of the most prestigious names in the industry,” said Ádám Ambrus, representative of Amera Group.
