    RTPR advises Romcim on the acquisition of Bauelemente

    RTPR has assisted Romcim S.A. in relation to the acquisition of Bauelemente Reinvest S.R.L. and its fully owned subsidiary, Bauelemente S.R.L., the market leader manufacturer of prefabricated reinforced and prestressed concrete in Romania.

    Romcim, part of the CRH Group, is one of the largest suppliers of cement, aggregates and concrete for the construction sector in Romania. With this transaction, Romcim adds three production facilities to its Romanian business, located in Bolintin Deal (Giurgiu), Cristian (Sibiu), and Aricestii Rahtivani (Prahova).

    Schoenherr advised Romcim on the FDI filing and obtaining merger clearance from the Romanian competition authority in connection with the transaction.
