CEC Bank grants financing of 9.5 million euros for Laptaria cu Caimac

    Published on

CEC Bank granted a financing of 9.5 million euros to the agricultural producer Agroserv Mariuta, owner of the Laptaria cu Caimac brand. The financing includes both short-term and long-term facilities, being intended to refinance the company’s loan portfolio from Exim Banca Romaneasca and ProCredit Bank.

“Agricultural financing was and always is a priority for CEC Bank. We are happy to start a new collaboration in this field with a major player, owner of the entire production chain – from vegetable farm and livestock farm to premium dairy factory. The owners of Laptaria cu Caimac thus have the advantage of an integrated business, which allows active control of quality throughout the supply chain, and we, through this new financing, continue to support the prosperity of local businesses”, said Laura Mihai, director of CEC Bank’s Large Clients Department.

“Our company is an integrated one, covering the entire production process, from field crops to the cow farm and up to the production of Laptaria cu Caimac dairy products. Agroserv Mariuța’s strategy for the coming years focuses on both horizontal and vertical development, with the main objective being differentiation on the Romanian market, by providing high quality goods and services. The collaboration with CEC Bank is a real help for us, as it gives us high efficiency in managing current financial costs and is a validation of the viability of our long-term development plans, paving the way for the financing of our immediate projects, such as the biogas plant and the system of packaging washing”, said Cornel Danila, General Director, Laptaria cu Caimac.

Agroserv Mariuța is listed on the AeRO market as of May 21, 2021, and currently has a market capitalization of approximately 62 million RON.
