    Metropolitan Life reports four percent increase in gross written premiums in the first quarter

    Metropolitan Life announces an increase of four percent in gross written premiums in the first three months of 2023, compared to the first quarter of 2022.

    In the first quarter of 2023, Metropolitan Life recorded gross written premiums amounting to 155.9 million RON compared to the same period of the previous year, when the value of gross written premiums amounted to 150.2 million RON.

    “The entire Metropolitan Life team is dedicated to the goal of maintaining a growth pace aligned with market dynamics.     During the first quarter of 2023 Metropolitan Life paid allowances amounting to a total value of 42.9 million RON. In the same period of 2022, the amount reached 44.2 million RON.
