Filip & Company assists Digi Group in taking out two loans totalling more than 132 million Euro

    Published on

Filip & Company has assisted RCS & RDS S.A., part of Digi Group, in securing new financing totalling over 132 million Euro, for a period of up to 3 years, for the purchase of goods and services for the development of telecommunications networks in Romania and Portugal. Digi Communications N.V. and Digi Spain acted as guarantors and ING Bank N.V. acted as agent and creditor.

“The pace at which Digi is building technologically advanced networks in Europe is very fast and these new credit facilities are just an outward sign of their hard work in this area. I look forward to hearing news of the completion of the various construction phases and the launch of services. We thank them once again for their confidence”, said Alexandru Birsan, Partner and Head of M&A and Capital Markets at Filip & Company.

The Filip & Company team that assisted RCS & RDS in this project consisted of Alexandru Birsan (partner), Rebecca Marina (senior associate), Camelia Iantuc (senior associate) and Smaranda Vacaru (senior associate).
