ORESA INDUSTRA announces the expansion of the area of the SOLO logistics park in Letcani commune, Iasi county, which will reach over 35,000 sqm in the second half of 2023. After obtaining the construction permit, the company will build a new hall of 10,000 sqm, available for rent to companies national and international with local logistics needs.

ORESA INDUSTRA is continuously expanding its industrial and logistics network in Romania with a total stock of 93,000 sqm. Industrial parks are open in Iasi – 35,000 sqm (existing and under construction), Arad 43,000 sqm (existing and under construction) and Bucharest 15,000 sqm (project).

“ORESA, the private family company with Swedish roots, has been present in Romania for over 25 years. We invest with the aim of creating long-term sustainable businesses. In Iași, we were attracted by the strategic location of the SOLO logistics park close to the city, the quality of the assets and the opportunity to develop this platform,” said Cornel MARIAN, ORESA Managing Partner.

“The proximity to the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, the still available workforce, the prospect of road infrastructure development (via the A7 and A8 highways) and the cargo terminal at the Iasi Airport make Western Moldova a destination for new investments in the stock of industrial and logistics spaces . That is why the entry into 2021 of ORESA INDUSTRA through the acquisition of the SOLO logistics park bodes well for the regional market. This is all the more valuable as it provides the availability to invest in the development of new industrial and logistics facilities that will enhance the talent pool in the region. In addition, the quality of the training of the graduates from the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University in Iasi exponentially increases the capabilities of the region,” said Dan ZAHARIA, Regional Partner ORESA INDUSTRA.
