Engie will install a 555 kWp photovoltaic plant for Omnia Plast

    Published on

Engie will install a 555 kWp photovoltaic plant for Omnia Plast, part of the Sunino Spa group in Italy, which will provide a significant part of the electricity consumption of the company based in Chiajna (Ilfov County).

By implementing the solution offered by ENGIE, Omnia Plast will benefit from increased economic performance by reducing electricity costs, but also a greater potential for a sustainable future of its business by reducing the impact on the environment. The photovoltaic power plant will generate approximately 680 MWh annually, contributing to the reduction of emissions corresponding to 203 tons of carbon dioxide per year.

“We chose ENGIE because it is an important name in the field, because it is a partner of ours with whom we have been working for several years and because it offers us a certain security in the implementation of such a project,” declared Omnia Plast representatives.
