Andrei Antipa, AFM: “We want to install 20,000 charging stations in the next years”

“We support electric mobility in Romania through the Rabla Plus program, but we are also preparing to launch a new version of the program to support the installation of 22 kW public charging stations.

The budget of 750 million RON for high power stations has already been consumed. In addition, we opened a financing line for the installation of charging stations in cities,” Andrei Antipa, vice-president of the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) said during Green Mobility Forum organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“We estimate that, together with the Ministry of Development, we will be able to launch about 20,000 charging stations on the market in the coming years.

We have the most generous support program for the purchase of electric cars in Europe and we want to maintain this program.”
