“The return of people to the offices is a desire of the companies that asked us to develop office spaces that would attract employees back to their jobs.

When we discuss the hybrid workplace, we must consider the socialization and interaction component between people. This component was a nice-to-have a few years ago, but now it has become very important for employees,” Andrei Angelescu, Head of Architecture and Design, COS said during Workplace of the Future conference organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“We try to discover the needs of the clients as best as possible with the help of the project teams to come up with dedicated solutions for them. Some proposals and concepts created by us were not implemented due to the fear of moving forward with a change in the way of working.

For certain types of activities, we analyze what the offices of the future could look like, depending on the changes in the market and the needs of the companies. People feel the need to belong to something that produces a positive impact in society. Motivation and empowerment are very important.

Every company wants to define a brand, define a specific work environment and reflect the organizational culture.

Sustainability is a learning process for companies that arrange their office spaces. The impact on the environment is increasingly important, and this is reflected in the requirements and needs of companies.”
