Transgaz completed the natural gas transmission pipeline Pojorata-Vatra Dornei

    Published on

Transgaz announced the completion of the project regarding the construction of the natural gas pipeline on the Pojorata-Vatra Dornei section in Suceava County.

“This investment provides access to energy resources to citizens and expands the possibilities for the business environment in Vatra Dornei, based on a consistent development potential.

The Romanian government will continue to support the projects for the realization of the natural gas transport infrastructure in the region, part of the major objective of completing, in the next three years, the connection project between the North-East Region and the North-West Region,” said the Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca, present at the inauguration of the investment.

“It is essential to understand and integrate these investments with the projects started at the level of the Ministry of Energy regarding gas exploitations. Along with the exploitation that started in the summer in the BlackSea Oil&Gas perimeter and with the start of the offshore project in the Neptun Deep perimeter, Romania will have a much higher natural gas extraction capacity. Combined with an expanded natural gas transportation capacity, we will be able to have a balanced distribution throughout the country.”
