    New OMRO IFN bond issue will start trading on BVB on May 10

    Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) announces that on May 10 will start trading a new OMRO IFN bond issue on the Multilateral Trading System worth 10 million RON, under the stock ticker OMRO26.

    OMRO IFN is one of the first microfinance institutions in Romania, established in 1994 in Targu Mures. It is the second bond issue for OMRO IFN listed on the stock exchange. The first one, worth 2 million Euro, is available for trading since 2020.

    Between December 8, 2021, and January 27, 2022, OMRO IFN held a private placement for bonds, in which 12 investors participated, out of which 6 qualified investors and 6 retail ones. The company sold 100,000 non-convertible bonds, unsecured, subordinated at a subscription price of RON 99.5/bond. The bonds have a nominal value of RON 100, the date of maturity on February 1, 2027, and an interest rate of 9.5%.

    The funds raised through the bond issue will be used to finance the lending activity, as well as to develop the systems necessary for the electronic money activity, according to the Memorandum. The private placement and the listing were made with the Goldring support.
