    DIGI Group paid taxes of over 263 million RON to the state budget in the first quarter

    DIGI Group transferred over 263 million RON to the state budget in Romania, in the first quarter of this year, representing taxes and duties. In 2021, the Group had a record contribution to the state budget of over 1 billion RON.

    DIGI is the leader of the fixed internet service on the domestic market, but also on the pay-TV television segment, according to the data provided by the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM). At the same time, it occupies the first position in the top of the operators in terms of portability, with over 3.4 million ported numbers from 2008 until now, according to the data provided by ANCOM and the company’s estimates.

    DIGI Group is one of the largest employers in the country, with over 15,000 employees dedicated to operations in Romania.
