Horváth reached turnover of 5.4 million Euro, up by 30 percent in 2021

    Published on

Horváth, one of the most important local and international players in the management consulting market, announces that it has ended 2021 with a turnover of approximately 5.4 million Euro, after recovering the losses from the pandemic. The figure is three times higher than five years ago, and about 30 percent higher than in 2020.

Growth has been driven by several factors. First of all, the market had an unexpected evolution, in a positive sense. There has been a demand for solutions for digital, organizational and ecological transformation where Horváth has extensive expertise. In addition, the Bucharest office has been transformed into a regional hub serving clients in the Balkans, and consultants in Bucharest have made significant contributions to the delivery of international projects, especially in Germany and the Middle East.

“For many companies, change is the ‘new normal.’ Our success in delivering transformation projects comes from the vast expertise we have at the group level and which we adapt locally, ”said Kurt Weber, General Manager of Horváth Romania.

For the future, the company aims for an equally ambitious increase – a doubling of turnover in the next 4 years but also a doubling of the number of employees.

“We are currently in the midst of an energy transition, so companies in all industries are facing the challenge of removing carbon from the entire value chain and replacing it with green hydrogen and renewable energy. This theme has an increasing resonance, especially in the context of increasing the number of funding programs that can be accessed in the coming years. On the other hand, more and more companies want an overall approach to digital transformation, with a focus on digitizing key processes. In addition, organizations need to become more resilient to shocks, to demonstrate greater adaptability to ensure their own prosperity and competitiveness, so we expect a growing need for efficiency and increased profitability,” said Kurt Weber.
