CEZ Romania invested 2 million RON in CSR activities in 2021

In 2021, CEZ Romania invested 2 million RON in CSR projects, of which over 850,000 RON in green initiatives.

The company’s projects include 9 photovoltaic panel systems for 9 high schools in the CEZ operational area, which are used by over 3,000 students and teachers, and will be used by future generations of students as well.

In 2022, these systems will produce 200,000 kWh of green energy and reduce CO2 emissions by 60,000 kg.

“Caring for the environment is a constant concern for us. We will continue to support and promote projects for #energygreen and energy efficiency, we will strengthen the partnership and involvement in the SocialWatt project and we will seek to overcome the results so far,“ said Ondrej Safar, CEO of CEZ Romania.
