ROCA Investments launches ROCA Industry, a construction materials holding company

    Published on

ROCA Investments launches its first strategic development pillar: ROCA Industry – a construction materials holding company, which brings together all the companies in the ROCA Investments portfolio in this field of activity, in order to offer them a common strategy and ensure synergies in their activity.

“The global economy is fragmenting and transforming. Commodity and energy prices are rising, accelerating inflation is following, and the pandemic is still having unpredictable effects. Under these conditions, adaptability must make up for the lack of predictability and become the main competitive advantage of companies,” said Rudolf Vizental, CEO of ROCA Investments.

ROCA Investments creates this holding company by bringing together Bico Industries, the largest domestic producer of fiberglass mesh, and Sarcom, one of the largest producers of paints and varnishes in Romania.

The choice of the field of construction materials as a strategic development sector is based on considerations related to the general evolution of this sector, as well as elements related to the experience and performance of ROCA Investments so far. Construction materials are also a strategic area in Romania’s development, as a result of the investments expected in the next period and the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
