    Inform Lykos and Austria Card will provide Metrorex access cards at metro stations

    Metrorex awarded to the association of companies formed by Inform Lykos and Austria Card a contract of 30.81 million RON, excluding VAT, for the supply of contactless cards and travel cards for the next four years. The contract was estimated at 52.2 million RON, excluding VAT, profit.ro reads.

    The procedure was also joined by Paragon Identification (France), Ceracarta SpA, AMEX and the associations formed by Confidex Oy (leader) and SELP SAS, Quantum Protect (leader), respectively Mecstar and Calmell. The specifications provide for the supply of 216 million magnetic cards and 5.62 million contactless cards.

    Last year, Metrorex’s turnover was 855.9 million RON, from 756.9 million RON in 2019, and the loss dropped from 331.3 million RON to 210,6 million RON.
