    ARIR announces new board of directors, Daniela Serban reconfirmed as president

    The Romanian Investors Relations Association (ARIR), the only professional association in Romania dedicated to best practices in investors relations, announces the new composition of the Board of Directors and the new strategy through which it will contribute more intensively to the development of the Romanian capital market. Therefore, ARIR will focus to meet the needs of the companies from AeRO market and those issuing bonds by supporting with expertise and increasing visibility in the capital market.

    Daniela Serban was reconfirmed as ARIR President by the General Assembly and will continue to coordinate the implementation of the Association’s strategy for the next 2 years. The Board of Directors has a new member: Monica Ivan, BRK Financial Group. Ana-Maria Imbrea, ALRO – ARIR Vice President; Ioan Sumandea – Banca Transilvania – ARIR Vice President, Adrian Tanase, Bucharest Stock Exchange and Tony Romani were also reconfirmed. The mandates of the Board of Directors are for 2 years to ensure continuity in the implementation of the strategy and vision of the community.

    Daniela Serban, ARIR President and Co-founder: “We have continuously innovated and proactively implemented project to meet the needs of the local capital market. Today we are 29 members, the largest listed companies in Romania, and building on our experience and expertise we aim to support the smaller companies from the capital market, the new pool of companies that are coming with openness and initiative and that will represent the engine of the economy. We aim to facilitate the access to financing and support as many companies as possible to develop in order to become more attractive. We will also work more closely with AeRO market and bond issuers to meet investors’ needs in terms of communication, transparency and sustainable corporate governance.”
