First Bank announces that, starting this month, it will diversify the check collection service issued by the US Treasury.

First Bank was the first financial institution in Romania that, starting with July 2020, offered the check collection service offered by the American government as financial assistance to counteract the economic impact caused by the pandemic.

First Bank extends the service to all types of checks issued by the US Treasury regardless of the purpose of issuance (eg: refund of taxes, pensions, economic impact, etc.).

Holders of checks issued by the US Treasury have the possibility to cash them in any First Bank branch, by opening a dollar account.
