Mihai Constandis, Cognizant Softvision: “We have managed to diversify our client portfolio in 2020”

“Work has moved online during the pandemic, there is this possibility in the long run, but with certain costs. Community is very important, we sought to cultivate the spirit of community, in which colleagues feel connected. We structured the organization to reaffirm our attention to people. Although we worked from home, we kept our community events, and we kept the connections between people,” Mihai Constandis, Head of Eastern Europe Studios, Cognizant Softvision said during “Workplace of the Future” conference organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“We encourage diversity, we believe we can learn a lot from each other, we have kept our morale high during this challenging period. The engagement has grown from our colleagues. We have seen positive results on overall retention.

In the past, we had dozens of visits from clients or potential clients. This was no longer possible after March 2020. We now have virtual tours, which have become very popular, and we have managed to diversify our client portfolio in 2020. In addition to ensuring the well-being of employees, we have ensured that our productivity has not been affected. We have seen an increase in productivity at certain times.”
