Transgaz reported a net profit of RON 234.19 million in the first half of 2026, down 49% compared with the same period last year, but 11% above the level forecast in the company’s revenue and expenditure budget, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Operating revenues, excluding balancing and construction activities under IFRIC 12, fell by 4% year-on-year, by RON 61.17 million, to RON 1.36 billion.
Operating expenses, excluding balancing and construction activities under IFRIC 12, increased by 13% compared with June 30, 2025, rising by RON 126.39 million to RON 1.07 billion.
Compared with the first half of 2025, gross profit as of June 30, 2026 decreased by RON 246.35 million, while net profit fell by RON 225.69 million.
Compared with the figures budgeted for the period, operating revenues were RON 39.56 million lower than projected, while operating expenses were RON 173.12 million below budget.
Gross profit was RON 40.76 million above the budgeted level, representing a 116% achievement rate. Net profit exceeded the budget by RON 22.38 million, reaching an achievement rate of 111%.
At consolidated level, the Transgaz Group reported a net profit of RON 303.6 million in H1 2026, compared with RON 518.9 million in the first half of 2025.
