RTPR has assisted Proinvest Group SRL in relation to the sale of the insulating panel division to Lattonedil S.p.A., a leading Group in Europe in the production and marketing of insulating panels. After the completion of the transaction, Proinvest Group will remain involved in the production of sandwich panels together with Lattonedil, with a minority stake, within the newly created entity, Lattonedil Romania SRL.

Proinvest Group was founded in 2000 in Pascani and specialises in the design and manufacture of steel components, construction and industrial systems. The company operates several production facilities in Iasi county.

The involvement and in-depth knowledge of the RTPR team were essential throughout the project. We found in them a responsible and reliable partner, and their significant expertise in M&A was a determining factor in the success of the project”, declared Vasile Sandu, founder and CEO of Proinvest Group.

The team of lawyers involved in this project was coordinated by Cezara Urzica (Senior Associate) and Andrei Nicolae (Associate), under the supervision of Mihai Ristici (Partner), and further included Iasmina Buse (Junior Associate). Roxana Ionescu (Partner), Serban Halmagean (Associate) and Daria Spatariu (Junior Associate) provided assistance in relation to FDI aspects of the transaction.

We are happy to have been involved in another transaction in which a Romanian entrepreneurial company manages to attract an experienced strategic partner, with whom it will continue to develop. We would like to thank Proinvest Group for putting their trust in our team and to wish them the best of luck in the future!”, said Mihai Ristici, Partner of RTPR.

I would also like to congratulate the Proinvest Group team for the success of this transaction and to thank them for the excellent collaboration. I am really pleased to have had the chance to contribute to the completion of this deal, which opens up new opportunities for both parties”, said Cezara Urzica, Senior Associate at RTPR.
