    Published on

Global law firm Dentons has advised a Turkish investor on the acquisition of two operational solar parks of 11 MW and 11.5 MW in Romania, along with 30 MWh and 40 MWh battery systems currently under development. The total investment exceeds EUR 27 million.

Dentons provided comprehensive legal support throughout all stages of the project, including legal due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiation of the transfer documentation.

Counsel Cosmin Roman led the transaction with the support of associate Ruxandra Ronea and partner Cristian Popescu (all Corporate M&A).

Cosmin Roman commented: “These deals are in line with the current market trend, where investors are increasingly targeting operational renewable assets combined with battery storage systems. We are pleased to assist our client in expanding its footprint in Romania and to continue to support the development of renewable projects in the Romanian energy landscape.”
