Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania (DEER) has completed an investment aimed at modernizing the medium- and low-voltage power grid in Sălaj County.
Through the completion of this project, worth 4.4 million lei and financed by the company’s own sources, consumers in the 14 localities supplied with electricity will benefit from a high-quality distribution service under improved safety conditions. According to a DEER press release, the project will reduce both the number and duration of power outages.
Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania (DEER), part of the Electrica Group, is the most important national electricity distribution operator, covering 18 counties—which represent 40.7% of Romania’s territory (97,196 sq km).
