During the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation 2025 (P-TEC 2025) — an event held in Athens that brings together Central and Eastern European countries, the United States, and European institutional partners to strengthen energy security — Nova Power & Gas, Transgaz, and the Greek company Atlantic – See LNG Trade signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Under this memorandum, Nova Power & Gas will work with national and regional partners to develop joint solutions for LNG procurement, contributing to the diversification of supply sources and reinforcing the region’s energy security.

“The signing of this memorandum is the first step toward ensuring a stable and secure flow of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for our region. This cooperation can be expanded through the construction of HVDC electricity interconnectors, optical fiber trunk lines, and AI data centers, all positioned along the Vertical Gas Corridor. The benefits of these projects will be significant throughout the entire region,” said Teofil Mureșan, Chairman of the Board and Founder of E-INFRA.

This memorandum follows the ongoing cooperation between the United States and partners in Southeastern Europe under P-TEC 2025, strengthening the region’s integration into the transatlantic energy supply network and expanding collaboration through the involvement of Romania and neighboring markets.
