FPPG strengthens its management team by appointing Daniel Apostol as new general director. He held the position of Director of External Relations within the FPPG between 2019 and 2020 and now takes up this new mandate at a crucial moment for the Federation, when it is actively involved in the public-private dialogue on low-carbon technologies, aiming at facilitating Romania’s energy transition and achieving the environmental objectives assumed by the country.

Daniel Apostol is a renowned specialist in the field of communication, expert in Public Affairs, excellent connoisseur of the business environment, especially the energy market, as well as the decision-making public environment. Daniel Apostol will supervise the entire activity of the Oil and Gas Employers’ Federation, which fulfils a role as a catalyst for cooperation between partners responsible for strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

At the same time, FPPG strengthens its position as a representative organization by appointing Cătălin Niță as General Secretary of the organization, his mission being to develop relations with all social partners in the country and abroad and to represent the Federation in its social dialogue actions. At the same time, Cătălin Niță will also coordinate the development of FPPG projects financed with European funds.
