The best electrician specialists from Distributie Energie Electrica Romania – DEER, a member company of the Electrica Group, were awarded at the 2023 edition of the Electrician’s Trophy competition. The final stage of the competition took place on June 7-8, in Targu Mures.
At the end of the two days of competition, held at the highest professional level, the evaluation commissions, made up of specialists from DEER, determined the winners.
The most important award, the Electrician’s Trophy, was handed out by the Minister of Energy, Virgil Popescu.
Mihaela Rodica Suciu, the General Director of DEER, said: “I am honored and proud to congratulate the winners of the company stage, senior and young electricians, who proved that they are the best to represent DEER in the national competition. At the same time, I congratulate all the participants in the competition. We at DEER are all a team, and to me, we’re all winners.
It is the first time that we are organizing the competition on DEER in the current structure, as one company, and I want to carry the tradition forward together. We have already established, with the directors of the branches, that the Electrician’s Trophy will be organized next year in Oradea.
I thank and wish our electrician specialists success in this specialized competitive marathon, which ends with the country phase, which will take place in Timișoara, next month”.
The Electrician’s Trophy reached its 41st edition this year. It is a traditional, prestigious professional competition, initiated by Electrica in 1977 and is part of the series of events dedicated to the Day of the Energetician (July 20). It is the longest-running and far-reaching professional competition in Romania.
