    Gyula Fatér is appointed CEO of OTP Bank Romania

    OTP Group announces the appointment of Gyula Fatér, executive with more than 27 years of experience in banking, as CEO of OTP Bank Romania, starting 13th of June.

    Gyula Fatér is a professional with over 27 years of international banking experience, who has led from start-ups to top Central and Eastern European banks. Between 1992 and 2000, he was CEO of Europool Investment Fund Management, and in 2000 he joined the Budapest Bank Group as CEO of Budapest Fund Management, which he held until 2014. Between 2006 and 2009 Gyula Fatér was also a regional wealth management leader at GE Money Bank, responsible for the regional oversight of eight countries, and since 2009 he worked in the retail banking management at Budapest Bank. He served more than 10 years in the management board of Budapest Bank. Over the past 4 years, he was Head of Consumer within the same bank.
