    Banca Transilvania Financial Group posts net profit of 507 million RON in Q1 2019

    In the first quarter of the year, Banca Transilvania Financial Group continued to offer its support to the Romanian entrepreneurs and economy in the form of integrated banking, brokerage, asset management, leasing and consumer finance services and products. The financial results are positive, with assets in amount of 79.7 billion RON. Banca Transilvania Financial Group’s net profit amounts to 507.46 million RON, including the 71 million RON contribution of its subsidiaries.

    BT Group Q1 Financial Results:

    • Banca Transilvania Financial Group’s net consolidated profit is 507.46 million RON, out of which the Bank’s profit amounts to 436.07 million RON;
    • The Group’s assets as at the end of Q1 2019 amounted to 79.7 billion RON, out of which 75.9 billion RON for the bank, net loans representing 48.5 percent of the BT Group’s assets;
    • BT Group’s loan balance increased by 2.1 percent as compared to December 2018;
    • 5,200 loans in amount of 215 million RON were granted by the BT Group’s companies in the first quarter of 2019;
    • 1,300 lease contracts were concluded in the first three months of the year, amounting to 210 million RON;
