    Vantage Towers appoints Simona Nijnic as Managing Director for Romania

    Vantage Towers has appointed Simona Nijnic as Managing Director for Romania, effective July 20, 2026. In this role, she will lead the company’s operations in Romania and will continue to drive growth in one of Vantage Towers’ key markets. She will report to Gergo Budai, Cluster Managing Director.

    Throughout her career, she has built a solid track record in developing and expanding business operations, growing commercial activity across verticals, developing multi-channel commercial strategies, and optimizing end-to-end commercial performance in the ISP, Enterprise, Retail, and Distribution segments.

    Vantage Towers is one of Europe’s leading telecommunications infrastructure companies, owning approximately 88,000 sites in ten countries and connecting people, businesses, and devices in both urban and rural areas. The company was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Düsseldorf.

    Vantage Towers’ portfolio includes towers, masts, rooftop sites, distributed antenna systems (DAS), and small cells. By building, operating, and leasing this infrastructure to mobile network operators (MNOs) and other network providers, such as IoT companies and utility providers, Vantage Towers contributes significantly to the development of a better-connected Europe.
