AQUILA initiates the merger by absorption process of Parmafood Group Distribution

    Published on

AQUILA, one of the largest distributors of fast-moving consumer goods in Romania, has approved the initiation of the steps required for the merger by absorption of Parmafood Group Distribution, a company acquired in April 2024.

The merger represents a step in the integration process carried out over the past two years and aims to simplify the legal and administrative structure, while further leveraging the commercial and operational complementarities between the two companies. The merger by absorption concerns exclusively Parmafood Group Distribution.

Cătălin Vasile, CEO, AQUILA: „The merger enables the transition to a unified structure designed to generate additional commercial and financial synergies and maximize the efficiency of commercial and operational activities. Throughout the process, maintaining continuity in relations with customers and suppliers remains a priority, with no changes to the way these partnerships are managed. The experience, expertise and commercial relationships developed by the Parmafood Group Distribution team will continue to be leveraged and will contribute to the further development of the business within an integrated structure, with an even stronger nationwide presence.”
