    Nuclearelectrica’s net profit increased 27 per cent in 2018 to 390.5 million RON

    Nuclearelectrica registered a net profit of 390.5 million RON in 2018, up 27.4 per cent year on year.

    EBIT rose by 42 per cent year-on year, while EBITDA grew by 18 per cent, influenced by higher energy sales, Nuclearelectrica said in an interim financial statement.

    Electricity sales generated revenues of 2.11 billion lei in 2018, up 12.3 per cent year-on-year. The company’s total operating revenue grew by an annual 12.7 per cent to 2.2 billion lei in 2018.
