Enel appoints Monica Hodor as new general manager of the E-Distributie companies

Monica Hodor, former Head of Network Development within the Global Infrastructure & Networks Division of the Enel Group, has been appointed general manager of the E-Distributie companies in Romania, responsible for the management of the electricity distribution grids in Banat, Dobrogea and Muntenia Sud areas.

To further improve our services, we will increase the volume of investments in the Romanian grids, in line with the Strategic Plan of the Enel Group for the period 2021-2023“, said Monica Hodor, General Manager of E-Distributie Banat, E-Distributie Dobrogea and E-Distributie Muntenia.
Monica Hodor has a management experience which spans over a period of 28 years. She joined Enel in 2011 as CFO of the Enel companies in Romania, and between October 2015 and January 2021 she had an international experience, occupying several management positions in the Enel Group.
Thus, between 2015 and 2018 she was Head of Planning and Control of the Global Infrastructure & Networks Division, coordinating the financial and operational control activities of the Enel distribution companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Italy, Peru, Romania, and Spain. Between 2018 and 2020, she led the Administration, Finance and Control Department of Enel Sao Paulo, and most recently was Head of Network Development within the Global Infrastructure & Networks Division. Mrs. Hodor received a Master’s Degree from the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
The three E-Distributie companies in Romania serve about 2.9 million consumption places in Banat (Arad, Timis, Caras Severin and Hunedoara counties), Dobrogea (Tulcea, Constanta, Ialomita and Calarasi counties) and Muntenia Sud (Bucharest, Ilfov and Giurgiu counties). E-Distributie Banat, E-Distributie Dobrogea and E-Distributie Muntenia.
In 2020, the E-Distribuție companies invested about 100 million euros (approx. 480 million lei) in the modernization of the electricity grid in Bucharest and the ten counties in which they operate across the country. The value of the modernization programs was added to the accumulated investments of about 1,4 billion euros made by E-Distributie Banat, E-Distributie Dobrogea and E-Distributie Muntenia in the period 2005-2019.
