Marian Popa, DB Global Technology: “We have laid the foundations for an exponential growth in 2021”

“We have challenges all the time, and 2020 was no exception. We have to trust our employees 24/7 not just during a pandemic. It wasn’t a bad year for us. It was just an usual year. We learned a lot from the business point of view. We are now enjoying the simple things in life, which we took for granted before the pandemic. We have laid the foundations for an exponential growth in 2021. It was a very good learning year for us. One of the most important messages is to build up a business continuity plan. All companies should make this investment for the future,” Marian Popa, Managing Director and Head of DB Global Technology said during the Leaders Debate within The Diplomat Awards Gala 2021.

“People are bold and courageous as much as we allow them to be. This pandemic forced us to trust people more and they opened up quite a lot. People became more open and we found out that our employees are humans too, they have hobbies, fears, strengths etc. We should completely trust our colleagues because this is the best return on investment in my opinion.”
